I didn't get an answer to my question in Discord or Telegram!
The best way to ensure your question gets answered, is to create a ticket by clicking the black icon in the bottom right of the screen. Once a ticket is created, our staff will be able to process it (in order) and assign it to an engineer if possible.
MetaMask doesn't connect. My balance is wrong. Gas problems. Etc.
For a number of weeks, we have been battling a DDoS attack, and our firewall is (temporarily) blocking IP addresses in certain regions of Asia and Russia.
This will affect things like MetaMask connecting to the network, balances not showing correctly, gas issues, and more. In fact, 95% of all problems currently reported are due to this.
Until we have that fully resolved, the recommendation is to use a VPN, and connect to, say, the Netherlands. Many users have confirmed this solved their problem.
The ETH that I transferred to NEAR isn't showing in my balance!
We've received several reports of ETH balances not showing up in the NEAR wallet, and in every case so far, have confirmed that the ETH is on the account, just not visible in the NEAR wallet (due to some bug).
This means the ETH is available for all dapps on the network, and bridging.
You can confirm this by starting a transfer of ETH from NEAR back to Ethereum on the Rainbow Bridge. You don't have to complete the transfer; just check if the bridge is showing your balance.
